Burning Down George Orwell's House
A former high-powered Chicago ad executive leaves his job and his wife for the Scottish Isle of Jura. There he soul-searches and drowns himself in Scottish single malt, while finding himself in an increasingly dangerous feud with one of the locals. Also, there might be--but probably aren't!--werewolves. The locals seem to believe in them, though, and the novel's builds to the night of a traditional, boozy werewolf hunt.
